This page lists everything Block & Point stores on your device. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings control in the site footer.
How consent works here
We use a fail-closed consent model: if you have not made a choice, or if storage is unavailable, nothing non-essential loads. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting — both are single buttons of equal prominence in the banner, as required by EDPB guidance 05/2020.
There are two optional categories, plus the strictly necessary items that cannot be switched off.
Strictly necessary
Always active. These are required for the site to function and store no information about you.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
sw_consent_v1 | Remembers your cookie choice so you are not asked on every page. Stores only the choice itself. | ~180 days |
bp-theme | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Local storage, never transmitted. | Until cleared |
Analytics — optional
Off unless you opt in.
| Provider | Purpose | Cookies | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Crazy Egg | Anonymised heatmaps and scroll depth, used to improve page layout. | Several first-party cookies | Up to 5 years |
Crazy Egg does not load at all unless you accept this category.
Affiliate and newsletter — optional
Off unless you opt in. Nothing currently loads in this category.
| Provider | Purpose | Status |
|---|---|---|
| — | — | No affiliate or newsletter provider is currently active. |
Block & Point does not yet have any affiliate relationship in place — see our affiliate disclosure. If a partner that sets cookies becomes active, it will be added to this table by name, with its cookie duration, before it goes live, and it will only load for visitors who have accepted this category.
Analytics that use no cookies at all
We use Plausible Analytics for traffic measurement. It sets no cookies, uses no persistent identifier, collects no personal data, and cannot track you between sites or visits. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, it falls outside the consent requirement of the ePrivacy Directive and runs for all visitors.
It records aggregate page views, referrers, country, device type — and which outbound links are clicked, counted against the link rather than against you.
Third-party sites
When you click a “shop” link you leave this site for a retailer, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. We have no control over those and they are not covered here. Our outbound links pass through our own /go/ addresses first; that hop stores nothing on your device.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
- Use the Cookie settings control in the footer of any page.
- Or clear cookies for blockandpoint.com in your browser, which resets the banner.
Withdrawing consent stops future loading immediately. To remove data a provider already holds, use the contact route in our privacy policy.
Browser-level controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies globally — see Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. Blocking all cookies will not break this site; you will simply be asked for your choice again on each visit.
